Been a while since I've posted, but I haven't really had anything interesting to share as I missed the last Winton day, more drift updates will come mid October. So as a bit of a filler, I have decided to share some of my recent detailing work. The first two are 'before' shots.
Here you can see some fairly heavy Swirl Marking and Water Etching.
Now for the after shots. 12 hours of machine polishing later, all the swirl marking and water etching are gone, and the paint is looking a lot glossier.
Me, hard at work on the gloss enhancing stage, listening to some Jurassic 5
Really nice gloss 'show off' photo, you can see how wet the paint looks, especially along the edge of the bonnet 'bulge'
Notice how the horn matches the badge!
It arrived as a dirty Legnum VR4, and left as a very sexy rolling mirror.
I managed to get it out in between rain showers and find a little bit of sunlight!
Typical Melbourne weather was on show, luckily the rain held off.
Interior received a good clean, the Recaro's are very comfortable.
I also detailed a very nice JZX100 Chaser recently, but i don't have many 'after' photos, so I will post that one up once I get some more photos!
